including appeals and feedback on how your donations have been used. We hope you will
always let us keep you informed about our work so we can tell you how your

Privacy policy
World Vision is a member of the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) and as such is required to operate within the stringent rules of the DMA's Code of Practice for Electronic Commerce, which was developed in consultation with the Office of Fair Trading and the Data Protection Register. The code is enforced by the independent Direct Marketing Authority.
World Vision follows the DMA's Code of Practice for e-commerce which sets high standards of consumer protection on the internet. We recognise that your personal privacy is a serious issue. This policy explains how we treat your personal information. By visiting the World Vision site you are consenting to the collection and use of your personal information unless you specify otherwise at the point of collection.
What information does World Vision collect?
World Vision does not collect any personal information from visitors to its website other than information that is knowingly and voluntarily given. This personal data is stored in-house on our computerised systems to enable us to respond to your requests and maintain your membership as a World Vision supporter. Anonymous information is collected, such as the number of visitors to the website in a given period, but it is purely statistical and cannot be used to identify an individual user.
How secure is the information we collect and store?
World Vision will always endeavour to protect your data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure, alteration or destruction. We fully understand the concerns people may have about releasing personal details over the internet. We are committed to investing in technology to provide security for your information, including working with leading suppliers of secure payment services.
All payments by credit card over the internet are processed through a secure server by SecPay on our behalf.
